A visitation will be held at First Christian Church of Platte City on Sunday, Dec. 30 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.; followed by a committal service at Eastlawn Cemetery, in Springfield, MO on Wednesday.
Kenneth was administrator of the Platte County Health Dept., retiring in 1990. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was Past State Commander and Life Member of the V.F.W. He was Past Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 248, and a Sachem in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He was a member of the Weston Masonic Lodge #53 A.F. & A.M., and a past president of the Platte City Lion's Club and a recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow Award.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 66 years, Anajean, son Dennis Petett, Daughter Mary Lee Wilkinson and her husband Robert, grandchildren Andrea, Adam, and Austin Wilkinson. Also step grandsons Rob & Will Wilkinson & great grandchildren Bobby & Kate Wilkinson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church of Platte City, or to a charity of one's choice.
