(DENVER, Co.) Romeo Crennel may not have a great track record as a head coach, but can lay claim to giving a fit or two to Peyton Manning with his defenses.

That was not the case in Sunday's regular season finale, as Manning lead the Broncos to a 38-3 drubbing of the Chiefs at Mile High Stadium.

The loss drops Kansas City to a franchise-worst 2-14 record and clinches the number one overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Denver's first-year quarterback delivered the top seed in the AFC playoffs with a 304-yard, three-touchdown effort against the Chiefs.

Running backs Knowshon Moreno and Lance Ball were also responsible for single scores.

Ryan Succop booted Kansas City's only score of the day from 23 yards away early in the second quarter.

Quarterback Brady Quinn could build little momentum, completing 7 of 16 passes for 49 yards. Pro Bowl running back Jamaal Charles rattled off 53 rushing yards to finish the season with 1,509 overall.

Changes are expected to soon follow in the organization, the extent of which have not been confirmed.

It's expected a decision could come as soon as Monday from chairman Clark Hunt as to whether the team will fire Crennel or general manager Scott Pioli.
