John Grippando Jr. 73, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at his home.
He was born March 20, 1939 in St. Joseph, MO, son of Ola MAe and John Grippando Sr. He worked in maintenance and landscaping. He loved to go camping, working in the yard, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was Catholic.
John was preceded in death by wife, Marilee Grippando, his parents, a son Ronnie Grippando, a sister, Darlene Davis, and a grandchild. Survivors include 4 Sons - John R. (Mona) Grippando, Jerry Dean Grippando, Dennis (Becky) Grippando, Brian (Michelle) Grippando all of St. Joseph, MO; 4 brothers - Robert Lee, James, Paul, and David Grippando; a sister - Carol Schaiffer; and 15 - grandchildren; and 10 - great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Rupp Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Steele officiating, The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Ashland Cemetery.
