Ruth H. Reder Miner, 88, of Atchison, Kansas passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012.
Ruth was born on May 16, 1924 in Farmington, Kansas to Rose (Armaur) Willming and Edward Willming.
She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Wathena, Kansas.
Ruth married Elmer Reder September 17,1944. He preceded her in death on October 4, 1977. She then married Lawrence Miner on May 16, 1980. He survives of the home. Ruth was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, Margaret Calvert, Fern Pace and Katherine Mc Cord, a brother, James Willming and 2 step-sons, Larry and Ronnie Miner.
Additional survivors; sons, Larry (Nancy) Reder and Kenny (Edna) Reder both of St. Joseph, Missouri; 2 step-sons, Alvin Miner and Robert Miner both of Denton, Kansas; 6 step-daughters, Marilyn (Steve) Andre, Terri Nitz, Tina Perry, Judy Lamm, Cheryl Sinclair and Penny (Art) Purvis; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 19 step-grandchildren; and 26 step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Friday, December 21, 2012 at : Christ Lutheran Church in Wathena, Kansas. Visitation: 6-8 Thursday evening at the Harman Rohde Funeral Home in Troy, Kansas where friends may call after 9 A.M. Thursday. Burial: Denton Cemetery in Denton, Kansas. Memorials: Breast Cancer, Heart Association or Christ Lutheran Church.
