(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A St. Joseph woman charged with the death of her 4-year-old daughter is back in jail.

Alexandra Schurr's bond was revoked Thursday during a preliminary hearing in Buchanan County Circuit Court after she failed to obtain legal council.

Schurr had been free on a $50,000 bond after being arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter in November.

The court will now appoint the 21-year-old defendant an attorney before her next scheduled court appearance on January 3.
