Brian E. Kelley, 37, Kansas City, Missouri died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at North Kansas City Hospital.
He was born January 20, 1975 to Leland and Marybeth (Hobbs) Kelley in Brookfield, Missouri.
Brian married Deanna Wright, of Kansas City, Missouri on August 7, 1998 in Parkville, Missouri.
Brian was a Sergeant in the Missouri State Highway Patrol, stationed at Troop H, Saint Joseph, from 2001-2006. He then transferred to Troop A serving in Platte County as Zone Sergeant and was a member of Troop A SWAT & Honor Guard.
Brian was a member of the North Heartland Community Church and Missouri State Troopers Association.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Survivors: wife and two children of the home, son, Ethan Christopher Kelley; daughter, Brynn LeeAnn Kelley; brother, Kevin (Cassi) Kelley, Holts Summit, Missouri; sister, Robyn (David) Brinkley, Linneus, Missouri; parents; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 11:30 A.M. Monday, Northland Cathedral, Kansas City, Missouri, where the family will receive friends 9:30 to 11:30 A.M. Monday, December 10th. The family suggests memorial gifts to Brian E. Kelley Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o UMB Bank of Brookfield or the Andrew J. Somora Foundation.
