Gov. Nixon Meets with Troops in War Zone

(JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.) Gov. Jay Nixon slipped off to the Middle East this week to meet with Missourians serving abroad.

His trip landed him in Kuwait and Afghanistan on Wednesday and Thursday. 
Nixon was expected to return to the United States this weekend.
