James Lee Collins, 64, Watson, MO

James Lee Collins was born in Hamburg, Iowa on December 8, 1947, and graduated from Hamburg High School.
On August 31, 1968 he married Beulah A. Holmes, and they became parents of three children. Jim lived in Georgia for over twenty years where he worked at DSM Chemical. He retired in 2003 and moved to Watson, Missouri.
Jim passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012 at a Rock Port, Missouri care center at the age of 64.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna L. (Brookshire) Collins.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah, of their Watson home; his father, Floyd Lee Collins, of Farragut, Iowa; son, Quentin Eric Collins, of Riverton, Iowa; daughters, Erin L. and her husband Wayne Hammett of Harlem, Georgia, and Melissa D. Glass of Rome, Georgia; brother, Joseph Collins, of Farragut, Iowa; grandchildren; great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 10:30 am at the Baptist Church in Hamburg, Iowa. Family visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, at the church. Interment will be at High Creek Cemetery in Watson.
