Kathy Hurtig, 70, St. Joseph, Missouri died Friday, November 30, 2012 at a local healthcare facility.
She was born February 27, 1942 to Louis Lee and Alma Lorraine (Shaver) Gruell in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Kathy worked at Carnation/Friskies from 1978 to 2004.
She enjoyed crafting and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gregory Daniel Carmona; grandson, Jacob Carmona; and sister, Peggy Lee Masters.
Survivors: two sons, Ralph Carmona and wife, Council Bluffs, Iowa and Michael Carmona, North Carolina; two daughters, Angelina Marie Harmond and family and Theresa Hogan and family, both of Temecula, California; sister, Judy Davis; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gathering of Remembrance: 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
