Francis Joseph Greene, 87, of St. Joseph, passed away December 2, 2012 at Saxton Healthcare Inn.
Francis was born on March 27, 1925 in St. Joseph to Harry and Ocie (Griffey) Greene.
He owned and operated his own Lawn Care Service and was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral.
He loved his cats and enjoyed playing his guitar.
Francis was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Paul Greene, sister, Virginia Bettis and nieces, Marie Schussler and Christine Graham.
Surviving family includes nieces, Paulita Sharp, of St. Joseph, and Patti Wood, of Kansas City, Missouri; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Mr. Greene has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
Private family inurnment Mount Olivet Cemetery.
