She was born November 8, 1936 in St. Joseph, MO. She was a Homemaker. She enjoyed volunteered at Camp Quality, the Food Kitchen and for the American Diabetes Assn., she was a nanny to many special kids and at the Wyatt Park Baptist Church for 15 years. She was a member of the Patee Park Baptist Church.
Alice was preceded in death by husband, Albert D. Collins Sr., a brother, Marvin L. Locklin Jr. and a sister, Margaret Locklin. Survivors include her mother Flossie Dunlap of St. Joseph, MO, three sons, Albert Collins Jr. of St. Joseph, MO, Bill (Paula) Collins of Omaha, NE. and Randy (Patti) Collins of Fort Collins, CO, four daughters, Regina (Ron) Carlill of Lakewood, CO, Alberta (Lannie) Funk of Saint Joseph, MO, Ronda Collins and companion Curtis Lovelady of St. Joseph, MO and Alinea (Harvey) Hewins of Wathena, KS, a sister, Frances Cooper of St. Joseph, a brother, James (Nadine) Locklin of Kansas City, MO, two special family friends, JoAnn Collins and Dorothy Larkin, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am, on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Rupp Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Oswald officiating, The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Ashland Cemetery. Memorials are requested In lieu of flowers to Camp Quality.
