Dearborn Trex Mart Sells 1 of 2 Winning Powerball Tickets

(JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.) A winner in the huge Powerball jackpot drawing is close to home.
The Trex Mart in Dearborn sold a ticket that matched all six Powerball numbers drawn last night, giving the winner half of the $587.5 million jackpot.
The prize of $293.7 million is the largest ever won in Missouri. A second winning ticket was sold in Arizona.
The winning numbers were: 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and the Powerball was 6.
The winner has 180 days to claim the prize. They have the option of taking a lump-sum payment of $192.3 million before taxes or the annuity option which is 30 payments over 30 years.

Trex Mart gets a payoff too. The store will receive a $50,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Aside from the big prize, Missourians won more than $3 million in other prizes, including two tickets worth $1 million each and eight worth $10,000.
