Jeraldine "Rose" Felling, 79, of St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at her home.
Jeraldine was born on August 18, 1933 in St. Joseph to Arthur and Katie (Calhoun) Whitmore.
She attended St. Patrick's School and Sacred Heart Convent. She owned and operated Felling Boarding Home for 25 years.
Jeraldine was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Missouri Western State University Art Society, St. Joseph Preservation Society, Friends of the Symphony, the legion of Mary and St. Ann's Altar Society.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip J. Felling, son, Nicholas Felling, six brothers and sisters, and parents.
Surviving family includes son, Matthew (Cathy) Felling, Pensacola, Florida; daughter, Angelia Foster, Overland Park, Kansas; grandchildren, Kathleen (Benjamin) Edwards, Nicolette and Bryce Foster, Jared and Jacob Felling.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Friday, November 30, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 12:00 Noon Thursday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, where the family will receive friends following the Rosary until 8:00 PM Thursday evening.
Rosary 6:30 PM Thursday at our chapel.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of the donor's choice.
