Rebecca Irene Gann 59, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 at her home.
She was born July 1, 1953 in El Paso, TX, daughter of Hortencia "Tangy" and Manford Allen. She graduated from Benton high school class of 1971. She retired from Commerce Bank as a Teller after 25 years of service. She was an avid softball player, and loved spending time with her family and fishing at Big Lake. She was of the Catholic faith.
Rebecca was preceded in death by father, Manford Leroy Allen, and a brother, Rick Allen. Survivors include her mother Hortencia "Tangy" Allen-Huey, 2 daughters - Angela Eaton and companion Kenny Adkins of St. Joseph, MO, Amanda Beers and husband Alan of St. Joseph, MO; three grandchildren, 2 sisters - Marta Allen of St. Joseph, MO and Hope Vette, and husband Mike of Tarkio, MO and her boyfriend, Darrell Wentorth, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am, on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Rupp Funeral Home, with Richard Eisenberg officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Ms. Gann will be cremated following the funeral service.
