Platte County Woman Drowns in Pool

(PLATTE CITY, Mo.) A 68-year-old Platte County woman was found dead in a swimming pool Wednesday morning.
The Platte County Sheriff's Office, South Platte Fire Department and American Medical Response Paramedics responded to a home around 3 a.m. after the victim's husband found her in the pool.
The victim, whose name is being withheld at this time, was transported to an area hospital before being pronounced dead.
The Platte County Sheriff's Office stated that there were no signs of foul play, but an investigation is being conducted.
