More Thanksgiving Travelers Expected

(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) Over one-third of Americans plan to travel this Thanksgiving, according to a TripAdvisor survey.

The survey found that 35 percent of Americans plan to travel this weekend, a one percent increase from last Thanksgiving.

Most travelers plan on hitting the road, with 58 percent driving and 38 percent flying.

Kansas City International Airport is expecting nearly 400,000 passengers to pass through its terminals over the holiday weekend. The airport will be implementing expedited security measures, as well as enforcing no-parking restrictions.
