Gareld Duane Riley 59, of Hopkins, MO, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012, at the Heartland Hospital in St. Joseph, MO, after a lengthy illness.
Gareld was born in Hopkins, MO, on August 10, 1953, to Drexel D. and Donna (Wilkinson) Riley and they survive of Maryville, MO.
He graduated from North Nodaway High School in Hopkins, MO, class of 1971, and farmed in the Hopkins area all of his life.
On July 28, 1973, in Hopkins, MO, Gareld was united in marriage to Vicki Jo Peve, she survives of the home. Besides his parents, he is also survived by his children, son, Adam (Vivian) Riley, Hopkins, MO, daughter, Kathy (John) Brown, Maryville, MO; sisters, Connie (Danny) Cline, Pickering, MO, Sally (David) Palmer, Bolckow, MO, and Judy (Tim) Norris, Braddyville, IA; grandchildren, Cameron Morrison, Ryan Riley, Lacy Riley, Kaitlyn Brown, Jillian Brown, and Jackson Brown; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 24, 2012, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. The burial will be in the Hopkins Cemetery, Hopkins, MO. Rev. Paul McKim will be the minister for the service.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM, Friday, November 23, 2012, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville.
