Michael Patrick Wilmes, 35 of Maryville, Missouri died Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, Missouri.
Michael was born March 25, 1977 in Maryville, Missouri the son of Steven Leroy and Kathy (Wilmes) Conz.
He was employed by Heartland Tire Company, Kansas City, Kansas.
Michael was a member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Maryville.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents Don and Peggy Wilmes and his paternal grandmothers Helen Downing and Viola Conz.
Survivors include: his son Jackson Wilmes, Maryville, a daughter Hannah Wilmes, Guilford, Missouri; parents Steve and Kathy Conz, Maryville; brothers Mark Conz, Maryville, David (Brandi Glidden) Conz, Platte City, Missouri; sisters Maggie Conz, Burlington Junction, Missouri, Kelly Conz, Arkoe, Missouri; grandfather Ralph Conz, Pickering, Missouri; aunts; uncles; cousins; his former wife Ellen Wilmes (Jackson's Mother), Maryville, and Tabitha Holtman (Hannah's Mother), Guilford.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, Friday, November 16, 2012, at the Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM, November 17, 2012 at St. Gregory's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Maryville.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Michael Wilmes Childrens Education Fund.
