Dannie was born November 16, 1927 in Platte County, MO to Dannie Aldofis and Teresa (Renz) Stamper. Dannie and his son operated a successful farming business in Platte County. During that time, he received awards and recognition for his farming achievements. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Dannie was involved in the Platte City community serving as a board member for the Platte County Farm Bureau, Platte Co. A.S.C., Platte Co. R-III School District, the St. Joseph Farm Home Administration, and the Platte City Fire Dept. He was also a member of the K.C. Chamber of Commerce Agricultural Committee, Platte City and Parkville Jaycees and was the Director of United Cooperatives, Inc.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife of 50 years, Verena; and his daughter Beth. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; son Dannie of Camden Point, MO; his daughters Jean Shaw (Buff) of Honolulu, HI, and Anne Knauer (Greg) of Parkville, MO; his sister Marge Johnston (Charlie); and 8 grandchildren.
