He was born July 29, 1935 to Johnnie and Nadine (Jackson) Tritten.
Marion married Janet Grider on April 24, 1960.
Mr. Tritten was a lifelong member of Helena United Methodist Church, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday school teacher, MYF leader, Savannah School Board Past President, a member of the County Planning & Zoning Committee, County Rural Water District and Charter member of the Helena Lions Club. He was a 4-H leader and a youth softball coach.
He was dedicated to his Christian Faith and his family. He led by example with his conservative values. He loved watching high school, college, and NFL sports. He was a graduate of Union Star High School and served in the United States Army Air Corps.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Gregg Tritten.
Survivors: wife, Janet; sons, Brian Tritten (Kayla), Ravenwood, Missouri and Dallas Tritten (Tiffany), Helena, Missouri; daughter, Leslie Tritten, Springfield, Virginia; grandchildren, Andrew, Kimberly, and Sidney Gates Tritten; honorary daughter, Shawn Howell; special caregiver, Linda Pike; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Graveside Services and Interment: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, Helena Cemetery. Celebration of Life 10:45 A.M. Thursday, Helena United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family suggests memorial gifts to Helena United Methodist Church or Helena Park Board.
