Becky Arnold 38 of Gallatin passed away Monday October 1, 2012 at the Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, at McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Friends may call after 11am on Wednesday. Burial will be at the Prairie Valley Cemetery east of Gallatin. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church in Gallatin, in care of McWilliams Funeral Home, 1329 W. Grand, Gallatin, MO 64640.
Becky was born May 9, 1974 to Robin and Cindy (Sloan) Rader in Chillicothe, MO. She graduated from Gallatin High School in 1992 and moved to Kansas City where she attended Maple Woods Community College and worked at Research Hospital. It was there she developed her love for the medical field. She later attended Concord Career College, where she received her Medical Technician License. Becky married Raymond Morris and the couple made their home in St. Catherine, MO, when their son Nick was born. She moved back to Gallatin and worked at Hedrick Medical Center as a Phlebotomist and at Mid West Photo in St. Joseph. Becky met and married Jon Arnold September 30, 2000, in Gallatin, where the couple made their home. To this union their daughter Cydney Paige was born. After the birth of Cydney, Becky decided to be a stay at home Mom and devoted much of her time and energy caring for her family.
Becky was a member of the First Christian Church in Gallatin. Her passion was shopping and she was always eager to go to Jamesport. She had a knack for photography; taking photos of her family and friends gave her much pleasure. She took great pride in her family and especially treasured the time she spent with Nick and Cydney. Being a "dance Mom" was always a priority and she delighted in helping in any capacity. Becky's great sense of humor, a smile that would melt your heart, and that twinkle in her eye made her the fun loving person she was. Becky was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend who will be greatly missed; her memory will live in our hearts forever.
Becky was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Joe and Martha Sloan and her paternal grandparents Elmer and Oleta Rader, aunt, Francis Rader and sister-in-law Shelly Scott.
Becky is survived by her husband of 12 years Jon of the home, son; Nick Morris of Brookfield, daughter; Cydney Paige of the home, parents; Robin and Cindy Rader of Gallatin, Step-sons; Jarrett Arnold of Lawrence, KS, Jonathan Arnold of Topeka, KS and Jordan Arnold of Albuquerque, NM, uncles; Danny Sloan and Vicky of Gallatin, Bill, Jenny and Joseph Sloan of Cameron, aunt; Mary Jo Pittsenbarger of Gallatin, father and mother-in-law; Jerry and Suzanne Arnold of St. Joe and a host of friends.
