Triumph Foods Worker Linked to Possible Tuberculosis Case

A Triumph Foods worker has been linked to a possible tuberculosis case in St. Joseph.
The company confirmed today that the City of St. Joseph Health Department informed them that one of the their employees has been diagnosed with a possible case of TB.
Triumph says the person worked for the company for about three weeks and has been off work for the last several weeks.
The City Health Department is now testing a small group of employees as a precaution.
TB is usually spread through air droplets from a cough or sneeze of an infected person.
Triumph says there is no risk of exposure from food products.
