Caryl Warren Gee, 89, Savannah, MO

Caryl Warren Gee, 89, Savannah, Missouri passed from this life on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 in his home. Caryl was born September 20, 1922 in Savannah, Missouri to Walter C. and Marquerite (Stanton) Gee.  He was a graduate of Savannah High School, 1940 graduate of the University of Missouri, Collage of Agriculture. Caryl was a member of the Savannah First Baptist Church, Savannah, Missouri.

He was a 50 year member Savannah Masonic Lodge #71 AF & AM. He graduated from Officers Candidate School in Fort Benning, Georgia, as a 2nd Lt Infantry and served in Manila, Philippine as 1st Lt. Caryl married Lois (Maughmer) on August 9, 1959 in Maryville, Missouri, who preceded him in death April 6, 2009, and his parents also preceded him in death.

Survivors: brother, Carl S. Gee, Savannah, Missouri; nephews and nieces, John and Jimmie Maughmer, Jean and Ernie Wasden, all of Texas, Roy Wayne and Kathy Gee of Savannah and many great nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life: 11:00 AM Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Breit-Hawkins & Gladden Funeral Home, Savannah, MO. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph. Public viewing 11 AM - 3PM Friday and family receiving hours 10:00 - 11:00 AM Saturday. Memorial donations to Savannah First Baptist Church.
