He was born on July 18, 1947 to James A. and E. Maxine (Feighert) Dunham in St. Joseph, Missouri.
He graduated from Mid-Buchanan High School in 1965 and served as a firefighter in the Air Force from 1966-1971 stationed in Korea and the Philippines during the Vietnam War.
During his life he worked at General Motors, Herzog Construction, multiple janitorial services, and in later years did lawn care.
Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dottie, and a sister, Helen Kay Conkling.
Survivors: son, Terry James Dunham, Kansas City, Missouri; sisters, MaryLou (Howard) Huber, Highland, Kansas, Carol Komer, Agency, Missouri, and Dorothy (Robert) Bailey, St. Joseph, Missouri; brothers, Aaron E. Dunham, Columbus, Ohio, Billy Ray (Ruthie) Dunham, Faucett, Missouri, Jerry Dean Dunham, St. Joseph, Missouri; sister-in-law, Pauline Erickson, Blockton, Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where friends may call after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday. The family suggests memorial gifts to a charity of the donor's choice.
