He was born December 11, 1926 in DeKalb, MO, son of Elsie and Ernest Hale. He graduated from Benton High School. He served in the Army and is a veteran of the World War II. He worked as a Commission order buyer as a Hog Buyer. He was a member of King Hill Baptist Church.
Bob was preceded in death by wife, Peggy Hale, a son, Dennis Hale, his parents, two sisters, Dorothy Vanhoozer and Christy Black and three brothers, Jewell, Paul and Lowell Hale. Survivors include two sisters, Helen Eastbourn of DeKalb, MO and Mary Campbell of Falls City, NE.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 pm, on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Rupp Funeral Home, with Pat Sampson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM on Saturday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery with Military Services under the direction of the Missouri Funeral Honors Program. Memorials are requested to the.
