Louise Marie Robker Seltman, 100, Bethany, MO

Louise was born May 10, 1912, in East Leavenworth, MO to John and Alice Robker. She married Henry Clinton Seltman on October 24, 1943 at the St. Johns Lutheran Church in Farley, MO, where continued her membership, and was active in the Lady's Evening Guild. To this union one son was born, John Frederick Seltman of Gilman City, MO. Louise and Henry were farmers in the hills of Farley, most of their married lives. Do to Henry's health they moved to Leavenworth, KS in 1974. In 2006 she moved to Crestview to be near her son.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Henry in 19787, four brothers Elmer "Bob" Robker, Alfred "Bill" Robker, Raymond "Pete" Robker Edward "Bud" Robker, Alfred "Bill" Robker, Raymond "Pete" Robker, Edward "Bud" Robker and three sisters Bessie Albright, Edna Heerman and Dorothy Robker. She is survived by one sister Helen Alexander of North Kansas city, MO, her son, John Seltman and wife Sherry, three grandchildren John E. (Lisa) Seltman of K.C. MO, Shawn (Tobie) Seltman of Liberty, MO, Nona (Dan) Clevidence, of Singapore, and six great grandchildren Stone, Ryan, Aubrey, Jack, Parker and Kyle.
The funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 9, 2012, at Rollins Funeral Home in Platte City, MO with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Platte City Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be given to the Hope Lutheran Church, which had cared for her spiritual needs the last 6 years, (1205 S. 25th St.--Bethany, MO 64424), or St. John's Lutheran Church of Farley, MO.
