Wade John McCrary, 87 years, 7 months and 3 days old, of Stanberry, Missouri, died Monday, July 9, 2012 at his residence in Stanberry.
Wade was born December 6, 1924 in Albany, Missouri, the son of Jess and Rachel Alice (Miller) McCrary. Wade married Elfrieda Anna Rose "Ann" Wiederholt in Conception, Missouri on September 9, 1941.
He had worked at the Hawthorne Furniture Store in Stanberry since 12 years of age. He became one of the owner/operators in 1973 and retired in 1996. Wade was a member of St Peter's Catholic Church, Stanberry.
His wife, Elfrieda Anna Rose "Ann" McCrary preceded him in death on August 23, 1998.
Survivors include threechildren: William Joseph (Sue) McCrary, Stanberry; Judy Ann (Leroy) Henggeler, Ravenwood, Missouri and Patricia Marie (Jerry) Kramer, Stanberry; thirteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. McCrary's body will lie in state at St Peter's Catholic Church in Stanberry from 4:30-7pm on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Where a Parish Prayer Service/Rosary will be recited at 7pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10 am Thursday, July 12, 2012 at St Peter's Catholic Church with burial in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Stanberry, Missouri.
