Paul Dean Ward 84, of Maryville, MO, went to his Heavenly Home on June 27, 2012, at the Golden Living Center, Maryville.
Paul was born on November 20, 1927 in Elmo, MO, to Miles Ward and Millie (Miller) Ward. He graduated from Burlington Junction Missouri High School in 1946. On November 17, 1946 he married Helen Drennen in Elmo, MO. They became the parents of 3 daughters and 1 son.
He was a farmer and also worked for Co-op. Later he worked at Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, MO, retiring in 1990.
Paul was a people person and loved to visit with any of his many friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family and all the grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bob and Jack.
His is survived by his wife Helen, of Maryville; daughters, Becky (Lonnie) Kuhns, Rock Port, MO, Terri Masterson, Colorado Springs, CO, and Cindy (Jim) Stevens, Alpena, MI; son, Ed (Cathy) Ward, Kearney, MO; grandchildren, Rhonda Gayler, Jeff Kuhns, Jason Smith, Sara Smith, Adam Ward, Jared Ward, Amanda Ward, Nathan Stevens, Dustin Stevens, and Ashley Travis; great grandchildren, Kyle and Brett Gayler, Christopher Masterson, Kelli Stevens, Cody Stevens, Allie and Reed Travis, Kaitlin Ward, Justin and Jordan Kuhns; sister in law, Nancy Ward; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ward has been cremated. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. Rev. Paul McKim will be the officiant. No formal visitation is planned. Inurnments will be at a later date in the Ohio Cemetery, Burlington Junction, MO.
Memorials may be directed to the Paul D. Ward memorial fund for a charity to be determined later, and may be sent to the funeral home.
