Marcia (Tyson) Symanski, 92 Maryville, Missouri died Friday, April 13, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Maryville, Missouri.
She was born December 22, 1919, in rural Atchison County, Missouri. Marcia was the daughter of the late Edwin and Lettie (Walkup) Tyson.
Marcia was a 1936 graduate of Maryville High School and graduated from Northwest Missouri State Teachers College with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.
She married John Symanski December 18, 1944 in Troy Kansas. Marcia and John owned and operated the Maryville Florist business for 35 years.
Preceding her in death were husband John (12/16/2006), brothers, Edwin Louis and Turner Walkup Tyson, and a nephew Edwin C.Tyson.
She was a member of St. Oswald's Episcopal Church, rural Fairfax, Missouri.
Surviving are nephews Turner Tyson, Jefferson City, MO, and Wayne Collins, San Jaun Capistrano, CA, and one niece Barbara Finn, Pensacola, FL.
Mrs. Symanski's body has been cremated. Memorial graveside services will be held Sunday, May 27, 11:00 AM at Walkup Grove Cemetery, rural Fairfax, Missouri.
