Robert J. Steed, 77, St. Joseph, Missouri died Friday, February 24, 2012 at his home.
He was born September 20, 1934 to Wilber Lee and Dora Loris (Brown) Steed.
He married Ronda Leone Buhman. She preceded him in death August 4, 2004.
Mr. Steed was a draftsman at Preston Refrigeration and was a member of Blue Lodge.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and sister, Millie.
(Survivors:) four daughters, Robin Timmons (Doug), St. Joseph, Cathy Boyle, St. Joseph, Brenda Day (Randy), Kansas City, Missouri, Jill Auton (John), New Orleans, Louisiana; one son, James Coffey (Michelle), Union Star, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill Brown, Jr. (Connie); two sister-in-laws, Janice Zeit and Sharon Phillips (Albert); and numerous nieces and nephews.
(Visitation:) The Family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:30 P.M., Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Allen Cemetery, Gower, Missouri. The Family suggests memorial gifts to Hands of Hope Hospice.
