Alex Hassel

Alex joined the team as a Multimedia Journalist in February of 2011.Prior to his current position, Alex worked as a Broadcast Assistant at KMOV News 4 in St. Louis, Mo. He was also an intern at KTVI Fox 2 while he was in college.
He is a cum laude graduate from Olivet Nazarene University where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication.
Alex is also an Eagle Scout.
Alex married his wife, Emily, in September of 2010.
He has a number of interests including photography, comic books, super heroes, classic horror films, various types of music, collecting vinyl records, camping, and hiking.
Alex is looking forward to getting to know everyone in St. Joseph and encourages you to say "hello" if you see him around.
