A Cameron woman sings for a trip to Minnesota. Twenty-year-old Mallory Bradford plans to try out for this season`s popular TV show, American Idol. Bradford and her family held a benefit concert at their church to help fund her trip to audition in Minneapolis. Bradford says even if American Idol doesn`t work out, she still plans to pursue a singing career. "I express myself a lot more, I think, through singing and songs without words, I do some of them. It just feels like I`m giving a different part of my soul," Bradford says. Mallory will audition for American Idol September 8th. If you would like to help fund her trip, give donations to Mallory`s father, Vern Bradford, at Car City in St. Joseph.
