A Cameron Baby Remains Hospitalized after Car Accident

A Cameron baby remains hospitalized tonight after a one-car accident yesterday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 34-year-old Mieke McCutchen was driving too fast on a gravel road just north of Cameron when she lost control of her SUV, slamming sideways into a bridge. McCutchen and her three children were transported by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center with head injuries. McCutchen and two of her children have been released, but her one-year-old baby remains in fair condition at Children`s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. A summons is pending. Troopers report none of the passengers was wearing seat belts.
