By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Hot rods, motorcycles and classic cars cruise for a cause on the streets of downtown Wathena. The first "Show and Shine" benefits both the Boy Scouts and Doniphan County`s food kitchens. Two non-perishable items entered an owner`s pride and joy into the event but monetary donations were also accepted. Particpants bought raffle tickets for an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. All financial donations will go to the Boy Scouts Troop 144 and all food items will go to the pantries. More than 330 cars came from all over Missouri and even as far as Oklahoma and Colorado for today`s event.
