A St. Joseph Girl`s Dreams are about to Come True

Updated: January 7, 2009
A St. Joseph girl`s dreams are about to come true. Four-year-old Miranda Nill heads to Wishland on Sunday, but first, she tells her family all about it at a going-away party for her tonight. Miranda is in remission now but has undergone tests and treatments for the past two years to remove tumors on her optical nerve. Thanks to the Dream Factory, Miranda and her family will travel to California to meet Donald Duck at Disneyland before heading to the San Diego Zoo. "Just trying to imagine the MRIs, she calls them "pokeys" and she counts how many she gets. It`s hard. It really is, so this is payback for that. I think it`s going to be fun.) Dream Factory has made more than 22,000 dreams come true in the past year. The small staff of seven needs more help and more funding to fulfill fantiasies.
