A Wathena Man Faces Serious Sex Charges

A Wathena, Kansas man facing serious sex charges appears in Buchanan County court today. Prosecutors believe 37-year-old Lonnie Churchill emailed a 13-year-old St. Joseph girl to arrange a meeting to have sex. Churchill now faces enticement of a child charges. His case has been bound over to circuit court. He will hear charges against him in division four on August 17.
