Man Accused of Animal Abuse Gets Shock Time

A St. Joseph man who`s accused of abusing more than 30 animals will spend 14 days behind bars. Henry Wilfong, seen here leaving the Buchanan County Courthouse, pleaded guilty yesterday. A judge sentenced him to one year in jail but he`ll only serve 14 days shock time plus 2 years probation. Wilfong isn`t allowed to own any animals and he must allow both the St. Joseph Animal Control and the Buchanan County Sheriff`s Department to randomly inspect his house. Wilfong heads to jail next Tuesday.
