Updated: January 7, 2009
A stack of air conditioners sits in storage in this heat. Catholic Charities of Northwest Missouri has the units for their `elder cool` program. The problem is not many of the elder population has taken advantage yet this year. A two man crew has been installing them as soon as an applicant is approved. They are trying to put together another crew. The problem now is some folks wonder if they are qualified. To find out if you qualify call Catholic Charities at (816) 232-2885.
