A rollover accident near Cameron lands a husband and wife in the hospital. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 26-year-olds Dustin and Grace Vanasse of St. Paul, Minnesota were attempting to avoid a tractor trailer on I-35 about five miles north of Cameron. That`s when troopers say driver Dustin Vanasse`s car ran off the roadway, struck an embankment, rolled three times and landed on its roof. According to professional videographer Stan Hendrix, Grace Vanasse crawled out of the car. Hendrix says her husband was trapped for several minutes before fire fighters extricated him. The couple was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center. Grace suffered minor injuries and was treated and released. Dustin was flown by air ambulance to Heartland Regional Medical Center where he remains in serious condition. Cameron fire, ambulance and police assisted the KAW fire rescue district in the late morning accident. A summons is pending.
