A St. Joseph Man is Charged with Stabbing Another St. Joseph Man

A St. Joseph man is charged with stabbing another man in St. Joseph`s south end. According to St. Joseph police, officers arrived at a home on West Hyde Park Avenue late last night to find 34-year-old Geory Summerow, of St. Joseph, stabbed in the torso and cut on the right arm. The suspect, 38-year-old Nathaniel Lewis, had fled the home but was later arrested on the same street. Lewis has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon and remains in the Buchanan County jail on a $7,500 bond. Summerow has been treated and released from Heartland Regional Medical Center.
