After the Storm

These last couple of days have marked the clean up process after an f-2 tornado`s wrath. Long days and sleepless nights is what tornado vicitims are going through. "We had about 100-200 people here helping us clean up debri. Friends, family people..I`ve never seen before, all helping us pick up depri, Friday and all day Saturday, Sunday we rested we were pretty worn out," says tornado vicitim Staci Boswell. Stacy Boswell lived in this home for the eight years she and insurance agents are now working to salvage what`s left of her tornado-torn home. "We pretty much got everything out that we could salvage," Boswell said. Some time this week what`s left of Stacy`s home will be knocked down and planted into this hole. Until then Stacy says they are at a stand still. She says tearing down to rebuild is a lengthy process. "Calls have to be made and you really don`t realize the hours you have to put in during this," Boswell said. Trent Chambers, another victim, was released from the hospital Saturday and now, with help from others, he`s trying to find the strength to clean-up the tornado`s mess. Trent was injured after the tornado took his trailer for a ride--while he was in it. He says he`s trying to capture whatever cant be replaced. Local churches and business are doing what they can to help. The Rosendale Christian Church set up a tornado fund with Famers State Bank and local business, Linda`s Shear Design, has already collected over one- thousand dollars.
