Insurance Agents Battle Back Against Storm Damage

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Phones ring off their hooks at one local insurance office. Agent Dave Price says he`s received more than 50 calls so far today, and he says his company`s hotline has taken almost 1,000 calls from Midland Empire residents reporting hail damage to personal property. With the influx of calls, agents say getting adjusters out will just take some time. Many large insurance agencies in town will bring catastrophe teams to the area for one-stop assessments. Beginning tomorrow, insurance agencies will set up drive-through claim adjustments. Insurance agents say you just need to bring your policy number and deductible, if you have one.
