School District Fills Principal Vacancies

Dr. Brad Owings is the only new elementary principal to the district. Dr. Owings will be principal at Parkway Elementary School effective July 1. He has been serving as principal at West Plains Elementary for seven years and was assistant principal at West Plains Middle School for three years.
Dr. Owings becomes the second West Plains administrator to make the move to St. Joseph next year. Dr. Fred Czerwonka will take over as superintendent in St. Joseph July 1, after serving in the same position with West Plains for the last four years.
Dr. Owings takes over for Joni Owens at Parkway. Owens will replace Dr. Deborah Stephens as principal at Field Elementary. Dr. Stephens will be the new principal at Central High School.
Terri Deayon, currently an instructional coach at Roubidoux Middle School, will become the principal at Edison Elementary.
Kevin Carroll will move to Hosea as principal. Carroll is currently the assistant principal at Bode Middle School.
He takes over for Lindsey Minson, who will move to Noyes Elementary. Minson replaces Dr. Adam Willard, who is leaving the district to be superintendent in Stanberry.
