Police Investigate String of Weekend Burglaries in Northeast Kansas

(ATCHISON, Ks.) Police in Atchison are investigating a string of car burglaries that happened over the weekend.

Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson told KAIR that at least seven vehicles were hit in various parts of town. Police believe at least five of the seven burglaries are connected.

The items taken during the burglaries include stereo equipment, a wallet and tools.

Police are seeking any information that would lead them to a suspect or suspects. Contact authorities in Atchison at 816-367-4322 with tips.
