Shop & Hop in Savannah Robbed Tuesday Night

(SAVANNAH, Mo.) Savannah police are searching for two men believed to have robbed a gas station Tuesday night.

The robbery happened shortly after 9:00 p.m.

Officer Gary Cook with the Savannah Police Department said two men robbed the Shop & Hop on 503 N. Highway 71.

An undetermined amount of cash was taken from the store.

Police are currently going through surveillance footage of the robbery.

Police said they are looking for two white men between 5' 5" and 6' tall. The two men were wearing black Carhartt jackets.

The men were described to be in their mid-20's.

Officer Cook said one of the suspects was wearing sandals at the time of the robbery.

A clerk and a customer were the only ones in the store at the time. Neither one was injured.
