(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) After months of reconstruction, the new La Mesa is preparing to open their doors.
The location on Mitchell officially opens to the public Friday, Dec. 28, at 11am.
The original building was torn down last year.
They still feature the same menu and a new bar with more tequila options.
The new location also has an outdoor patio.
La Mesa is gearing up to spend next year celebrating 20 years in St. Joseph.
"Starting the middle of January, we are going to have a lot of specials and promotions. We are planning on giving away a free trip to Mexico by doing a raffle," said Francisco Onate, owner.
The second location of La Mesa is located on the north Belt Highway.
