(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Drivers should plan for road construction on a stretch of Interstate 29 this week.

MoDOT crews will close the northbound passing lane of I-29 near Exit 44 on Wednesday and Thursday.

The closure is due to median work near the U.S. Highway 169 overpass.

The interstate will be down to one lane from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

MoDOT urges drivers to take it slow in the construction zone.
