(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A water main break downtown Sunday morning left several businesses damaged.

The break occurred around 8th and Felix streets and left some businesses, including Foster's Martini and Wine Bar and Bliss Salon, with water damage and water in their basements.

City officials say they were called to the area around 7 a.m. Sunday and were still investigating what caused the break into the afternoon.

Crews expected to have most of the cleanup finished by Sunday evening.
