(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A man with a history of drug charges is back in jail after a Monday's six-hour standoff at south St. Joseph home.
Stanley Z. Fadden, Jr., 28, faces a felony drug possession and distribution charge.
Authorities went to his home on Brown Street Monday afternoon to serve a search warrant after receiving information that he had a substantial amount of marijuana.
When they arrived, Fadden refused to surrender for more than 6 hours. Armed agents from the Buchanan County Drug Strike Force and St. Joseph Police Department's SRT team surrounded the home before finally arresting Fadden.
According to court documents, they found more than 35 grams of marijuana in his home.
Because Fadden has prior drug convictions, he faces a minimum of 10 years in jail without the possibility of probation or parole if he is found guilty on the latest charge.
Three others were arrested Monday, but have not been charged.
