The campus moved from downtown to the Green Acres building on Village Drive. Northwest officials say the move allows the university an opportunity to grow.
"So what we hope to do is expand education, not just for northwest Missourians but for those in the four state region and well beyond so this is one opportunity for us," Dr. John Jasinski, Northwest Missouri State University President said.
"We have a place, a comprehensive university that offers grad degrees in a place with a high population density means potential students know what their options might be," Doug Dunham, Provost, Northwest Missouri State University
Northwest also has centers in Maryville and Liberty.
